Meet Nita, our brave and loving Valentine!
A year ago, on Valentine’s Day, Nala's Animal Rescue received an urgent call about a pregnant dog in Okeechobee who needed immediate help. Without hesitation, we rushed Nita to All Creatures Animal Hospital, where Dr. Mary Bressman performed an emergency C-section, saving Nita’s life and the lives of her 13 puppies.
Despite our best efforts, only four of Nita’s puppies survived, and three of them were born blind. Nita proved to be an incredible mom, giving her all while recovering from surgery.
Now, Nita is ready for a forever home! This 4-year-old, 65-pound sweetheart loves people and is great with other dogs. She’s a true couch potato and well-behaved indoors. Nita is extremely loyal and enjoys spending time with her family.
Like all of Nala's dogs, Nita is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Help us give Nita the loving home she deserves this Valentine’s Day.
