Dogs
Nala's would like to introduce Daisy (on the left), a beautiful 2 year old female Black Mouth Curr mix who has an amazing story. Daisy was born on Great Harbour Cay and like many dogs in the Bahamas, she never had a home or a family. She lived outside the tiny corner grocery store, hoping to find a kind soul to offer her scraps. At one point Daisy was even shot and thankfully a local couple who visit the island to offer a spay/neuter program for all the stray dogs were able to get her medical care. Six months ago a family visiting the island fell in love with Daisy and contacted Nala's New Life Rescue. We agreed to take her and the family flew her over in a private plane. As expected, Daisy was heartworm positive so she has been going thru heartworm treatment while staying at Nala's ranch and in a home with one of our volunteers. Daisy is now ready for a home of her own. This special girl loves people and is great with other dogs. She needs a fenced yard and an active family or person as she has alot of energy but is well behaved in the house. She is housebroken and knows basic commands. Daisy has dreamed of having a home of her own, could you please share her story to help make her dream come true?
