Nala's New Life Rescue would like to introduce 2 special dogs who are now ready for their forever home. Dawn is the tan dog on the left, Honey is her "sister" on the right. These 2 girls grew up in the same home and are forever bonded. They arrived at Okeechobee Animal Control shaken and scared. Nala's was told about these girls and chose them to go on transport to NH but then the news got worse for these 2 lovable girls as it was discovered both were heartworm positive. The only option was for Nala's to rescue them and treat them which we did a few months ago. They just completed their heartworm treatment and are ready for their second chance at life. Dawn is 4 years old and Honey is 7 years old. Both weigh 45 pounds and they totally enjoy each other's company. They eat together, sleep together in the kennel and hope to spend the rest of their lives together. They are good with other dogs. They are both spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Dawn and Honey are ready for their new family and Nala's is happy to be a part of their journey to find that family.
