Dogs
We would like to introduce Mita, she has a special story and needs a special home. Mita is 6 or 7 years old and recently found herself out of time at the shelter in Miami. Her owner and best friend was a veteran who passed away and Mita was brought to the shelter with little or no hope of being adopted. A friend of one of Nala's volunteers heard her story and rescued her from the shelter so she could receive the care she desperately needed. Mita has the usual Shepherd issues with hip dysplasia and ear infections but they have already been treated and now Mita just needs an experienced person who would allow her to live out her days as a senior dog.
Mita loves people and playing fetch. She weighs 52 pounds so she is not a big Shepherd and she is housebroken and walks good on a leash. She is hoping for a second chance at life and a quiet place to retire and live out her days.
